Law clerks, attorneys, and judges working or living in the CBJ area are eligible for JBA membership.

​Active members have voting rights at JBA meetings. All members have access to the JBA email listserv. All members are invited to JBA events and receive event benefits.  

Annual JBA membership dues

$50 - Active member (voting) 

$30 - Associate member (non-voting)

$0 - Honorary member (non-voting) Conferred by majority vote of JBA at any regular meeting to a former active member of the JBA or a member of a bar association of any jurisdiction.

Pay with PayPal:

1. Go to www.paypal.com and login (or sign up)
2. Click on "Send and Request" near the top.
3. Enter [email protected] as the payment recipient.
4. Enter the payment amount (likely $50.00), and enter your name in the "Add a note" field.
5. Click "Send." You should then be able to select your payment method and billing address.
6. You will receive a confirmation email from PayPal, and the JBA will receive an email that your payment has gone through.

Our acceptance of your money is our acceptance of your application for membership for the year. If you think you might not qualify, just try paying and see if it works. If some other member were to make a motion to review your membership, then we can decide whether to amend the bylaws to allow membership by trial by combat.
